Dr. Hastings will return.
  • A Tweet by the writer of the comic teases that Dr. Hastings’ ability to heal from injuries may have let her survive being shattered to pieces. The plot thread of Daedin Alacore taking Dr. Hastings’ research also has yet to come up, so it’s likely a future arc will involve Dr. Hastings research or Dr. Hastings herself.

Madison is about 25 years old in present-day.
  • There isn't any public information about Madison’s current age, but a couple of the chapter descriptions in the webcomic helps narrow things down. The chapter descriptions in “Integral Interval” during Madison’s nightmare are dated at 4 years ago. A chapter description back in Chapter 6 states that she joined Death Widow when she was 18, left after 3 years, and spent another 3 years rising up the ranks of the PCPD until she was assigned to the Special Crimes Unit. Adding the 3 years she was part of Death Widow, the 3 years she spent rising up the ranks in the PCPD, and an additional year given the descriptions in “Integral Interval” date back 4 years, Madison should be around 25 years old.

Madison’s commanding officer Satori Riven survived the airstrike.
  • While Satori has been missing since she disappeared in an explosion, no body was recovered, meaning she could always come back in some capacity.

Daedin Alacore was involved in the premature airstrike on Rahjeen.
  • A chapter description in “Nightmare Island” says that Alacore Industries reached megacorp status four years ago. Coincidentally, the airstrike on Rahjeen is dated as four years ago as well. We’ve seen in “Nightmare Island” how Alacore manipulated Dr. Hastings. Maybe Alacore had a part in moving up the schedule of the airstrike, or he took advantage of what happened to Rahjeen.
