Kindred is a witchcraft-themed book starring a trio of characters discovering their powers as they embark on a magical journey together. It is one of the many stories under the Choices: Stories You Play collection, and it was released on May 26, 2023 for VIP players, with the book being released for everyone on August 4, 2023.Kindred includes examples of:
- Alliterative Title: Every chapter title past Chapter 1 involves words starting with the same letter.
- All Caps: While texting their coven in Chapter 6, Rainer forgets to turn off CAPSLOCK on their phone, resulting in them texting like this.Kaine: ok boomer u dont have to yell
- Betty and Veronica: Willow is torn between the straight-laced guardian Rainier and the darkly seductive wraith Kaine.
- Colour-Coded Characters: Each of the three sisters is associated with a certain colour:
- Willow: Yellow

- Company Cross References: In Chapter 3, Saffron transforms into a bird that resembles Leaf from another fantasy-themed Choices story.
- Hello, [Insert Name Here]: As with all Choices characters, you can name your character. The default name here is Willow Morrigan.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Saff and Maggie's personalities are fitting for their color motifs. Saff is more calm and collected, while Maggie is more hot tempered.
- Shout-Out: The default name of the protagonist refers to two known sorceresses: Willow Rosenberg and Morrigan.
- Theme Naming: The main character's default name (Willow), Saffron, and Maggie (short for Magnolia) are all themed around nature. In fact, when naming the main character, the game encourages you to choose a name with a nature theme.
- Wanted a Son Instead: Willow's mother gave her third daughter up for adoption because she thought that having three daughters was a bad omen.
