Baby Bump is one of the many stories from Pixelberry's Choices: Stories You Play collection.

A one-night stand results in an unexpected pregnancy. How will our heroine go through it while settling down in the town of Gracetown?

Baby Bump provides examples of:

  • Accidental Public Confession: Chapter 4 has Bao reveal to Craig that Jen's pregnant.
  • Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Chapter 5 has Cassandra give this ultimatum to Jen for her help in renovating the dance hall: beg her to help out or leave.
  • Animal Motif: A premium scene in Chapter 7 shows Luisa's is hippos since they can tear you apart and still be cute.
  • Artistic License – Biology: For a story about pregnancy, it runs right into these tropes. Chapter 8 has Jen feel the baby kicking despite that kind of event happening only six months into the pregnancy. By that point in the story, she's eight weeks pregnant and still has a flat stomach. Chapter 15 is months later and she's still drawn with a flat stomach. It's not until Chapter 16 does she finally become visibly pregnant.
  • Artistic License – Gun Safety: Chapter 8 has Selma give Jen a loaded shotgun expecting her to know how to shoot clay pigeons or learn on the fly, despite protests she's never fired a gun before. She also doesn't check the barrel before handing it to Jen. The premium scene with Clint or Mayor Dixon teaching Jen how to handle a shotgun is there to help alleviate that.
  • Babies Ever After: If the bonus scene is unlocked, it’s revealed Jen is pregnant with a third baby.
  • Bachelor Auction: Chapter 5 involves Cassandra throwing one of these as a fundraiser for the dance hall. Jen can make the right choices to squeeze some extra money out of her to keep her from getting Clint.
  • Big Damn Kiss: If you get Navya and Karen to make up in Chapter 10, they share one to show they're back together.
  • Big Eater: Bao is someone who loves his food. In Chapter 3, he's seen eating a sub and the best way to get him to come to Luisa's restaurant is to offer him unlimited tacos.
  • Brutal Honesty: Mayor Dixon has this as both a blessing and a curse, which is why they've had a hard time in trying to convince Luisa to remodel the bar.
  • Bunnies for Cuteness: A premium choice in Chapter 7 allows you to adopt a pet bunny with the default name of BunBun.
  • Canine Companion: Mayor Dixon has one in their bloodhound, Boone. One of Jen's first tasks in Chapter 2 is trying to convince them to part with Boone.
  • Card Games: Chapter 12 has not only blackjack played at the Governor's ball, but it's Cordonian blackjack which is the same rules as trying not to go over 21, though tying with the dealer is a loss instead of a push and cards are worth their face value. A premium choice allows you to play against Craig in Texas hold 'em.
  • Character Customization: You can customize Clint Covington's looks between Caucasian, Asian and African. You can also choose if Mayor Dixon is male or female.
  • The Charmer: During the party at Chapter 1, selecting all of the first choices with Clint allows Jen to be the Charmer.
  • Clothing Damage: During truth or dare, Jen asks what the most embarrassing high school story is. Luisa had a crush on a boy and asked him out, but was turned down. Clint think that sounds normal, but her skirt got caught in her locker and tore, accidentally flashing him, got so embarrassed and ran into a door.
  • Corrupt Politician: Craig becomes mayor in Book 2, but only because he rigged the votes.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Chapter 12 has the guests at the Governor's gala get into this if you paid the premium choice in Chapter 11 to bring Boone along.
  • Developers' Desired Date: Clint Covington is the father of the player character's baby and has to resolve a love triangle between her and his fiancée, even if the player takes the option of not romancing him.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Chapter 7 has Mariana be this with Clint when she's supposed to be examining Jen during a checkup.
Mariana: "Oh, so sorry! Just trying to take your biceps! Er, blood pressure!"
  • Don't Look Back: In Chapter 8 in a premium scene with Mayor Dixon, while stargazing they tell her the story of Orpheus and Eurydice and how he could take his love out of Tartarus so long as he never looked back...except he did.
  • Dude Magnet: Whether Jen helped her hook up with Officer Keith or not, Chapter 10 sees Mariana is this at the club the girls go to.
  • Embarrassing Tattoo: Chapter 7 has Mayor Dixon and Luisa reveal in a game of "Never Have I Ever" that they have these. Dixon's tattoo is "I promise" in cursive.
  • Enemy Mine: Clint suggests Jen work with Cassandra, someone who already hates her, to get funding for the dance hall renovation. He knows it wouldn't be out of the goodness of her heart, but because she likes to flaunt her money.
  • Enormous Engagement Ring: Cassandra shows her ring off to Jen to show not only how wealthy she is, but that she's engaged to Clint.
  • Evil Is Petty: Chapter 12 has Cassandra be this, showing she had Governor Finch stop Mayor Dixon's programs all just to get back at Jen having Clint's baby regardless if she's with him or not.

  • Generic Graffiti: Jen's dare in truth or dare is to graffiti the "Welcome to Gracetown" sign and she draws a smiley face on it. It remains there all book long.
  • Get Out!: Chapter 11 has Mayor Dixon fire Craig regardless of him being Governor Finch's nephew.
  • Girl's Night Out Episode: Chapter 10 is this as Jen, Anna, Luisa and Mariana take Navya out to forget about her girlfriend.
  • Hand on Womb: The cover of the book has Clint doing this to a very pregnant Jen.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Cassandra starts out as an antagonist in Book 1, but she softens up in Book 2.
  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: As with almost every Choices game, you can name your character. The default name is Jen Cassidy. Your sister also gets this with the default name of Anna, as well as Covington's first name (default name is Clint). For Mayor Dixon, their name is Myles if male and Myra if female. The twin babies' default names are Elizabeth and William.
  • Hero with Bad Publicity: Chapter 6 has Jen's reputation be ruined by Cassandra, making her look like a gold digging slut after Clint to the point it costs her her job at City Hall.
  • How We Got Here: Chapter 1 cuts to six weeks before when Jen met Clint, and what led to her becoming pregnant with his child.
