Silver Palace investigates these tropes:
- Action RPG: Combat gameplay appears to take notes from other gacha game Stylish Action RPGs and that of God of War (PS4). In fights, players have a team of four characters that can tag out with the character they currently control, while fighting is done through an over-the-shoulder view where enemies are defeated by reducing their health to zero. Said enemies also have a Break Meter underneath their Life Meter, which when depleted will stun the enemy and leave them open for a finishing attack, if not massively deplete their health.
- Always Over the Shoulder: The screen keeps the view over the shoulder of the character the player controls.
- Applied Phlebotinum: Silvernium, a miracle material that has been used to become the cornerstone of Silvernia's technological golden age.
- Maid Corps: There's an organization of these called the Maid Institute, Society, and Services, abbreviated as "MISS".
- Pimped-Out Dress: A number of female characters wear dresses given remarkable detail in accessories and frills.
- Urban Fantasy: The game is set in an urban metropolis where newspapers, elevators, cars, trams, guns and the like are common sights, which is juxtaposed against distinctly supernatural events with werewolves and the mysterious power the Detective exhibits.
- Wide-Open Sandbox: Much of Silvernia can be freely explored, which is encouraged through mounts that not only move on the ground at speeds rivalling cars, but also sprout wings to fly with.
