inZOI is a Life Simulation Game developed by inZOI Studio and published by Krafton.
You are an intern working at AR COMPANY, managing cities populated by virtual people called Zois with the help of Psycat, the friendly feline who also happens to be your boss.
It was released in Early Access on March 28, 2025, with a currently undefined full release date.
inZOI provides examples of:
- Amazing Technicolor Population: While pre-created Zois have the typical skin tone ranges, your custom created Zois can potentially have abnormal skin colors like blue, green, red, and no one will think any differently of them.
- An Interior Designer Is You: Much like The Sims, you can design your own houses from scratch and decorate them with furniture, sometimes even including some of your own custom created items.
- Arbitrary Headcount Limit: Zoi families can only have a maximum of eight members. If a household with eight Zoi family members were to have a baby, the pregnancy attempt would fail.
- Blatant Burglar: The Criminal Jobs icon has the classic Domino Mask and black beanie for its icon in your Careers App.
- Crapsaccharine World: Potentially, if you set the cleanliness and overall appearance of the city to high levels but leave everyone else in the city with terrible karma.
- Crapsack World: You can create one like this in the City Menu, to the point it looks like a Chernobyl ghost town.
- Dreadful Musician: When starting out, Zois singing at early levels are painful to listen to, to say the least. Best of luck to your ears when taking a job at Adam Entertainment, because the singers will remain bad no matter how high their level is, and they can sing for a long time.
- Idol Singer: Exclusive to Dowon, the idol singer profession is a potential career path for young adult Zois who want to sing and perform Korean Pop Music.
- Karmic Jackpot: Zois with excellent karma can be rewarded with good fortune and will receive a bouquet of flowers in the mail for their good deeds.
- Laser-Guided Karma: If a Zoi’s karma is bad enough, they will be subject to unfortunate accidents and be prone to illnesses and such. You can try to help them do better by scolding them via the City Management menu, though.
- Melting-Pot Nomenclature: Generally downplayed in the two currently released cities Dowon and Bliss Bay, which contain mostly names that wouldn’t be out of place in Korean or American culture respectively. However, they still pop up every now and then due to random Zoi generation.
- Pawprint Stamping: After you’re finished creating a family and have picked a city for them to live in, you send the paperwork over to Psycat so that it can mark its pawprint for approval.
- Product Placement: The game features several Hyundai vehicles for your Zoi to drive, like the Hyundai IONIQ 5 an electric vehicle.
