Tuba's Tree is an Idle Game by randomtuba made in The Modding Tree and released in 2021. It has several layers named after ones from Synergism, but each one has original mechanics with new buyables and upgrades.

The game was remade later that year as Tubas Tree Rewritten, which is so different tropes for it should go on a separate page.

The original is playable on galaxy.click and GitHub.

This game provides examples of:

  • 420, Blaze It: The joke is referenced by the upgrade called "4200 Blaze It".
  • Achievement System: There's a sidelayer that lists 45 (actually 50) goals, usually for reaching a quota for resources, challenges, or otherwise progressing.
  • All the Worlds Are a Stage: "Sadistic" combines challenges 1 to 9 from the Transcension layer, while "SADISTIC CHALLENGE II" combines Reincarnation challenges 1, 3, and 4 with 100% reincarnation charge on top of that.
  • Cap:
    • Quite a few upgrades have hardcaps noted in their descriptions, but later upgrades replace them with softcaps instead.
    • All reincarnation buyables have a cap ranging from level 20 to 100.
    • Quark energy is capped at 1.8e308.
  • Challenge Run: The Transcension and Reincarnation layers have a bunch of challenges where you should grind
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Each layer has a color to indicate things in it.
    • Prestige: Navy blue
    • Ascension: Yellow
    • Transcension: Violet
    • Reincarnation: Green
    • Super-prestige: Light blue
  • Export Save: You can push a button to export the 5KB+ save file and another to paste it in.
  • LOL, 69: The "Nice" goal is earned for 6969 points, "Nice^2" is earned for 48,566,961, and "Nice^Nice^Nice^69420 is earned for 4.332e12,957,320,060,829.
  • Over 100% Completion: The sidelayer that lists goals initially has 45 of them and bases the completion percentage on that, but the endgame adds five more goals and you end with 111.11% completion instead.
  • Shout-Out: Almost all layers (Prestige, Ascension, Transcension, and Reincarnation) are named after resets from Synergism, while Sadistic I and II are taken from that game's challenges.
