The Sandbox is a free mobile app where you can make your own world. It was created by Pixowl and released on May 15, 2012. The game starts with it asking you to place dirt, and then water to make a lake. You can unlock different elements using mana or karma which you can get by ether doing sidequests or by using real money. You can make things from games to places to walk around and even pixel art.
The Sandbox provides examples of:
- Elemental Powers: You can use different type of powers to change your land:
- An Ice Person: With the ice ability (or changing the temperature) you can easily freeze stuff.
- Blow You Away: You can use tornadoes to blow away stuff
- Dishing Out Dirt: You can create dirt, sand and rock
- Making a Splash: You can make water
- Playing with Fire: You can make fire or lava, sometimes used to destroy your character's homes and burn them.
- Retraux: It's all in a 16-bit art style.
- Videogame Cruelty Potential: You can do horrible stuff to your characters, like burning them in acid or pushing them off a cliff.
