The Prince Of Landis is an RPG Maker Adventure Game by Lorestrome.

Evan is a young boy living in the rural town of Landis, Oregon. How is life in this town? For him, it really sucks. He has to put up with bullies, an alcoholic father, and limited prospects for employment outside of the local lumber mill. He also isn't the most assertive kid.

However, that all changes one night, when Evan hears a loud noise outside. He heads outside to discover its source, and discovers an alien spaceship, with its driver outside. Evan decides he needs to prove his worth to this "Guest", lest he become food for it, by bringing it items that it asks of him. Along the way, Evan ends up learning some life lessons from this Guest that may teach him to stand up for himself.

The game was released on November 5th, 2021.

The Prince Of Landis contains examples of:

  • The Alcoholic: Evan's dad. He's usually seen on the living room couch either drinking beer and watching TV, or past out drunk, fast asleep.
  • The Bully: Jason establishes himself as such in the first cutscene of the game when he shows up. He insults Evan, then his father, then dots Evan's eye. Dustin tells him it's because Evan's dad used to do it to Jason's dad when they were kids. He also likes making fun of Tommy's back.
  • Catching Some Z's: Evan's dad. Whenever he's asleep, there's a line of Zs coming off of him.
  • Extreme Omnivore: The Guest, as he's willing to eat things like roadkill.
  • Held Back in School: According to Tommy, Jason was held back three grades... or maybe two. The only reason the school keeps him is because he's on the ball team.
  • Monochromatic Eyes: The Guest's eyes are one solid colour.
  • Shout-Out:
    • Evan has a friend at school named Dustin.
    • In the second day at school, Dustin asks Evan if he saw Ninja Turtles last night.
  • Three-Quarters View: How the game's viewed.
