The East New World is a mobile platform game, where the hero, Buta, has to collect the memories of his deceased love interest and destroy the demons scourging the lands. Or die trying.

This game contains examples of:

  • Action Bomb: The flaming skulls in Scorched Purgatory. Strike them once and they will try to blow up, taking you with them.
  • An Ice Person: Both bosses in the Mirror Labyrith have ice attacks, and they are the most devastating.
  • Boss in Mook Clothing: Death Whirlpool has the Poison Toads, who can leap quite far, deal good damage and have a lot of hitpoints, comparable to the enemies of Mirror Labyrinth.
  • Bragging Rights Reward: The Legendary Demon Slayer. Strongest and overall best sword in the game, it is earned by defeating the boss rush when you have unlocked all bosses, even the last one... and if you reach and beat the final boss, you are already very skilled at this game.
  • Downer Ending: If you don't collect all the memories of Icy, you become the final demon.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: You can save Icy and your soul, but it requires 100% completion, which is MUCH easier said than done.
  • Evil Counterpart: The clones of Buta who attack through mirrors. Also, to an extent, the Final Boss, a Mirror Boss whose fate you suffer in the bad ending.
  • Faux Action Girl: Icy. She was a professional assassin, whose role in the story is to die to drive the protagonist in his quest for revenge.
  • Golden Ending: Collect all chests and all crystals that contain Icy's memories and Buta learns his ancestry and the danger of becoming the final demon. Slay the Corrupted Knight then, and Icy is revived, the hero does not get corrupted and you live happily ever after.
  • Guide Dang It!: The crystals, chests and even the path forward in the Mirror Labyrinth are very tricky to find, with a lot of trial and error.
  • Interface Screw: The Succubus. She can burn your mana with her kisses, which are hard to avoid, and reverse your controls with her pink dust.
  • Invincible Minor Minion: The black cats in Mirror Labyrinth can't be harmed at all. The gargoyles are immortal, but can be stunned with a few strong hits. Fortunately, both enemies don't get far from their area.
  • King Mook: ALL bosses, except Anubis, maybe Fire Dragon and possibly Succubus.
  • Lethal Lava Land: The third world, Scorched Purgatory. You can actually live through the magma if you are correctly equipped, but the enemies and bosses are still quite tough.
  • Mighty Glacier: The Fire Dragon. He is a Stationary Boss whose attacks take time to initiate, but is very durable, his attacks have a great range, and his breath can kill you in one hit.
  • Mirror Boss: The Final Boss has a combination of sword/lance and magic, just like you. He is called Corrupted Knight, because he too was corrupted when he tried to eliminate the Darkness. He even boasts that you will suffer the same fate if you kill him, and is right in the bad ending.
  • Nintendo Hard: This game is known for its difficulty. The final world, in particular, is brutal, since it introduces cats and gargoyles, quick traps, evil clones of yourself and durable wizards, loads and loads of bottomless pits and secret paths for the end of the stage. And the bosses in the game do not play around, except the first one.
  • One-Hit Kill: The mirror clones of yourself can inflict this to you, as well as the fire breath of the Fire Dragon.
  • Puzzle Boss: Even though blindly charging at any boss without figuring a strategy is suicide, only the Corrupted Knight counts. He is too fast to hit, but if you send the falling icicles at him with your sword he will freeze and be vulnerable.
  • Stone Wall:
    • The riders. They are the only enemies who deal one digit of damage (except the Succubus' weakest attack), but they are very durable.
    • The Mirror Demons. Stationary, they only deal Collision Damage, and not more than any other enemy in Mirror Labyrinth. They are also extremely durable, so they can be dangerous if they are on perilous platforms.
  • Succubi and Incubi: There is a succubus boss who can burn your mana with her kisses.
  • Warm-Up Boss: The Ancient Mummy, the first minor boss. Charging at it is a death stentence, but if you jump on the columns on the edges of the arena, its spells will never hit you, while it stands still and close enough for you to wait and slash at it safely. It's only a threat when it jumps on the columns or when the player has no patience.
