Learn magic, sing spells, and raise the dead in a singing battle with a melodic witch!

Tales from the Raveyard is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Summus (who'd later make Vs. Singe and Sear). While talking a late-night walk on the town with your girlfriend, you stumble across a miserable looking witch in a cemetery, struggling to practice her spells for witch finals. Do you think you've got what it takes to help her out and lift her spirits?

The mod can be downloaded on GameBanana here.

Song List

  1. Cackle
  2. Bones
  3. Mystic
  4. Hocus Pocus

This mod provides examples of:

  • The Cameo: During "Hocus Pocus", some ghosts of the dead appear, such as Garcello, Red Crewmate, Nene, and the Sheriff.
  • Driven to Suicide: Nenes ghosts has noose on her neck meaning her cause of death was suicide … again.
  • Friendless Background: Myra discovered the disadvantages of this when she has to practice a spell that requires multiple people, hence needing your help.
  • Hot Witch: Myra, to a T.
  • Inept Mage: Downplayed, but Summus stated that, due to Myra's inexperience, the ghosts that appeared in “Hocus Pocus” vanish after a few minutes.
  • Necromancer: The spell you're helping Myra with calls forth the ghost of the dead in the graveyard you are in.
  • Pun-Based Title: Combining "Tales from the graveyard" and rave, in this case.
  • Purple Is Powerful: Myra is mostly dressed in purple, and is a witch.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Myra, with her being compared to the likes of Lady Dimitrescu.
  • Verbal Backspace: Once the ghosts have been summoned, Myra gets excited and shouts "I've done it!". After Boyfriend reminds her that he helped, she rephrases "We've done it!".
  • Wizarding School: A given, considering Myra is studying for her witch finals.
