(aka: Sushi Pack Talkin Trash)

Go To

There are seven official Flash games made by CloudCo. based on the 2007 series Sushi Pack. These games were originally hosted on AGKidZone.com, a children's version of the American Greetings website with games and other activities. Following that site's closure, the games can now be found on Numuki Browser.

    Games
  • Art Attack - A maze game where the player controls a Pack member through a museum to collect all the paintings and diamonds while avoiding ghosts.
  • Beat the Heat - A puzzle game where the objective in each level is to eliminate all the ice cubes on screen, all in one go. The player can use each member of the Sushi Pack to do this, and each one has a different ability to help them reach ice cubes out of their jump path.
  • Break the Ice - A platformer where the objective is to reach the goal and rescue a Pack member encased in ice.
  • Find the Sushi Pack - A click-and-point game where Pack members are hidden in a crowded scene and the player must find them.
  • Power Practice - A shooter game in which the player selects a Pack member and controls them as they fire at cut-outs of the Legion of Low Tide.
  • Save Our City! - A strategy game in which the player has to assign certain Sushi Pack members to fight in certain battles against the Legion of Low Tide. each member has strengths, weaknesses, and equals, which the player must consider if they want to win.
  • Talkin' Trash! - A Pong-esque puzzle game where the player controls Wasabi as he eliminates trash bags on screen via bouncing around with a skateboard as a base platform. Based on an episode.

Tropes:

  • Absurd Phobia: According to Break the Ice, Ikura's arkoudaphobia extends to even gummy bears.
  • Alliterative Title: "Art Attack" and "Talkin' Trash!".
  • Circling Birdies: In Save Our City!, if Wasabi loses a match, he'll be sent back to the starting menu, with little fireballs circling around his head.
  • Damsel in Distress:
    • In Break the Ice, Maguro and Kani are imprisoned in ice before the game begins. The player controls Ikura and Tako, respectively, to save them.
    • In Talkin' Trash!, the Trashosaurus traps Kani and Maguro in trash bags. If Wasabi breaks them out, they will assist by allowing for more accurate shots (Kani) or providing a backup platform (Maguro)
  • A Day in the Limelight: Unlike the other games, which star the Pack as equals, Talkin' Trash is mainly focused on Wasabi, with the other Pack members being assists.
  • Developer's Foresight: In Break the Ice, Maguro can fly instead of jumping. To prevent players from easily flying over the entire level, there are steam clouds littering open air that will hurt Maguro if she touches them.
  • Distressed Dude:
    • In Break the Ice, both Ikura and Tako are imprisoned in ice before the game begins. The player controls Wasabi and Maguro, respectively, to rescue them.
    • In Talkin' Trash!, the Trashosaurus traps Ikura and Tako in trash bags. If Wasabi breaks them out, they will assist by launching explosives onto the remaining bags to get rid of them (Ikura) or eliminating an entire column of trash (Tako)
  • Game Over:
    • In Break the Ice, you get a Game over if you run out of lives. You'll be automatically sent back to the starting screen.
    • In Save Our City!, you get a Game Over if the City's health bar reaches zero.
    • In Talkin' Trash!, you get a Game Over if you run out of lives. You must click the screen to be sent back to the starting screen.
  • Ocular Gushers: In Save Our City!, if Kani loses a match, she'll be sent back to the starting menu and cry tears that gush out of her eyes. This is also seen on the Game Over screen.
  • Starter Boss: Setting the difficulty of Break the Ice to medium or hard allows for bosses; the first boss is Mochi Macchiato, who shoots ice that harms Wasabi, but is relatively easy to jump over or subdue with fireballs.
  • V-Sign: In Save Our City!, when Kani wins a match, she will do a V-sign while winking.
