Slimes is a game made by scitydreamer. In an alternate world where magic was introduced by an eldritch alien creature, the crusader Julius Anderson sets out to exterminate a slime den for the glory of the church. However, he is forced to work with a "Healer" that uses healing magic, creating a rift that can't be easily overcome.

Game can be found here.

  • The Alcoholic: Sonia is driven into alcoholism after Joseph's party is decimated in the slime den.
  • Anti-Grinding: Although you can attempt to grind focus in a battle, slimes gain buffs if the battle drags on.
  • Anti-Villain: Imil, Thomas, Natalie and many of the friendly slimes are only villains in the eyes of Julius.
  • Blood Knight: The Grotesquerie Slime, who craves fighting just because he can.
  • Combat Exclusive Healing: The healer's concentrate ability only operates during combat. The healing abilities it can power may be used outside combat, but it's resource is only obtained during combat.
  • Contractual Boss Immunity: Averted. Stunning and poisoning works on everything - including bosses - though this is balanced out by the fact that they gain a temporary immunity for a few turns to keep from getting stunlocked.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Magic isn't inherently a bad thing, nor are all slimes inherently violent.
  • Double-Edged Buff: Julius can empower himself for a few turns but weakens the healer's defense in exchange.
  • Driven to Suicide: Joseph and Kyle. Natalie attempts this by trying to get slimes to kill them but they survive the attempt.
  • Enemy Civil War: Slimes in the third stratum show open contempt for each other, due to being born from different ideologies.
  • Enemy Mine: Some slimes are inflicted with "Murderous," which causes them to attack allies alongside the party.
  • Flunky Boss: The large slime on floor seven will have parts of itself detach and join the battle.
  • Freudian Excuse: Julius' extreme hatred of magic and magic users stems from sparing a magician who went on to cause a town-wide blaze.
  • Knight Templar: Julius, who shows an open hatred of magic things, which leads to him killing multiple friendly slimes and slaughtering a trio of humans trying to protect them.
  • No Name Given: Invoked. "Healer" does not get a name because Julius doesn't care to learn it. He is later properly dubbed Tai Hong in his flashback and is named that in the interface afterwards.
  • The Power of Hate: The slimes are literally created through the hatred of people.
