** At the end of that same fight, Jake tosses a bundle of dynamite right in front of Greasy Steve, then drives off on his motorcycle. As the dynamite blows up and kills Greasy Steve, ''Jake takes damage from the nearby explosion.'' Yes, this is a ''cut scene'' where the main lead ''somehow takes damage.'' Wow.

* OnlySixFaces: The game reuses character models a lot. This is particularly noticeable as it's even done for supporting roles with a decent amount of screen time. The women (with the exception of Brandy, Ellie, and the strippers) are particularly hilarious - even though they have a variety of different hairstyles and possibly faces, and one of them even has an ascot that none of the others have, from the neck down their bodies and clothes are all perfect {{Palette Swap}}s of each other right down to having the exact same black studded wristband.

It can also occur by possible accident in cutscenes where Jake approaches Devil's Hand members for a brawl, but sometimes two of the ''exact'' same models load into the same fight. Guess there are a lot of twins in that biker gang!

* DamageSpongeBoss: Cook in the DLC runs around while firing a machine gun, has a ''lot'' of health (he's got about two-and-a-half times as much health as a GiantMook), and is defeated simply by shooting him a lot.

* DamageSpongeBoss: Greasy Steve, depending on how your game behaves, can sometimes take an insane amount of damage before dying, and if the game glitches out, you can fail the mission a few times before you've shot him adequate times to kill him and trigger the cut scene afterward. Cook in the DLC runs around while firing a machine gun, has a ''lot'' of health (he's got about two-and-a-half times as much health as a GiantMook), and is defeated simply by shooting him a lot.

* ArtisticLicense: Plastic hockey masks can deflect bullets, given that you can't kill thugs with hockey masks by shooting at their heads.

* IncrediblyDurableEnemies: It takes roughly an entire clip from a rifle to kill a single enemy. Headshots are still an instant kill, but aiming for the head is a real pain because the aiming reticule is rather sluggish and sometimes outright refuses to acknowledge your inputs. Even worse, the EliteMooks wear masks that can't be penetrated or knocked off by bullets, meaning that you will run out of ammo trying to kill them unless you fight them hand-to-hand.

TRS wick cleanupCamera Screw has been redefined and its original meaning moved to Event Obscuring Camera, both YMMV

* CameraScrew: The camera controls are ''not'' very reliable, to say the least, which can make combat very difficult.

* JustPlaneWrong: In the scene set at an airplane graveyard, Boeing 727s and Lockheed L-1011 Tristars are shown broken into pieces and rusting away. At the time this game was set, the 727 had only been introduced a few years ago and the L-1011 hadn't even made its first flight.
