Imagine that you have divine powers. What do you do? Help people or take the piss out of them? That's a priest's life.
Priest Simulator is an action simulation game developed by Asmodev and published by Ultimate Games. It was released through Steam Early Access on October 6, 2022, with a forthcoming full release in the near future.

The player takes on the role of a priest in a small town. Being a person of such high privilege and public regard, the player has the option to be ethical or possibly have abusive fun. The player chooses what they talk about during their sermons and must also take on the duty of collecting money from the collection tray. Whatever else they do at every step of the way is their choice, whether it is building a high-end church and cleansing the town of evil spirits, taking on other priests to become the best, joining religious alliances, or putting them against each other.

Priest Simulator contains examples of the following tropes:

  • An Interior Designer Is You: One of the game's goals is to continuously build and upgrade the inside of your church with the money you receive from the collection try. A better-equipped church allows the player to earn a higher amount of Lord's Grace.
  • Mana Meter: In this game it is the Grace Meter which grants the player more and more amounts of Lord's Grace based on performing good tasks. The higher the meter, the more Lord's grace will be available to you further away from the church.
  • Parody Religion: The Christianists and the Shatanists are parodies of real-life Christians and Pagans.
