Operation Dance contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe Fic: The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos is ignored by this game, and Ronnie Anne is one of many girls Lincoln can date. Girls introduced in Season 4 or later aren't included in the game.
- Dating Sim: The goal of the game is to ask a girl out to the Night of the Stars dance.
- Multiple Endings: Each girl you can date has their own ending.
- Romance Game: One of the few non-Japanese examples.
- Named by the Adaptation: Many of the QTs (female background characters) now have names and personalities.
- Original Character: Several fan-created OCs appear as background extras.
