Nameless Cat is an Platformer mobile game released in 2017 for Android devices and 2018 for iOS by indie game studio Kotoba Games, based in Hong Kong, China.

You play as a nameless cat that falls into an unknown world. Shortly after you fall, a floating, black orb greets you, and after giving you a brief tutorial on how to move your character, the floating orb tells you that it is the caretaker of the world you stumbled upon. The floating orb, henceforth referred to as the Caretaker, then tells you to collect white orbs, which the white orb says that it is your own treasure to collect, and that no one can see it but you. After the Caretaker gives you the ability to teleport to certain objects, the Caretaker leaves you to your own devices.

Originally released in Chinese and English, a patch also added Japanese, Spanish, and Russian as supported languages.

This game provides examples of:

  • Catchphrase: Jellyhead often, if not always, says "Why am I so goddamned great!" when they are finished talking, and even says it after introducing themselves to Nora.
    Jellyhead: Wait!
    Nora: What's wrong?
Jellyhead: Why... why am I so goddamn great!
    Nora: What?
  • A Dog Named "Dog": Mr. Rabbit.
  • Heroic Mime: The Caretaker even comments on it when first meeting you.
the Caretaker: Well... think on the bright side, at least you won't find yourself in an argument.
  • No Name Given: the Nameless Cat, as well as the Caretaker, seeing as how the Caretaker never actually gives you their name. Jellyhead and Nora often refer to the Nameless Cat as "kitty".
