LEGO Stunt Rally is a LEGO Racing Game by Intelligent Games released in 2000 for PC and Game Boy Color. A PlayStation version was also planned to be released, but it was scrapped.

The aim of the game is pretty simple. You play as one of four different racers, Wrench, Chip, Barney, and Lucky, racing several opponents on different tracks across Stunt Island to earn a chance to compete against its owner and champion, Mr. X.

LEGO Stunt Rally contains examples of:

  • All There in the Manual:
    • The game's manual provides information about the plot and the characters.
    • The names of the individual tracks can only be found in Intelligent Games' build of the scrapped PlayStation version.
  • Animal Motifs: On the shirts of the four playable characters, Wrench has a scorpion, Chip has a tiger, Barney has a shark, and Lucky has a crocodile.
  • Assuming the Audience's Age: Mr. X assumes that children are playing the game as he recommends getting help from older people for more advanced options.
  • Become a Real Boy: The manual claims that Mega Hurtz is racing to earn money so he can afford upgrades to make himself more humanlike.
  • Big Good: Mr. X is the owner of Stunt Island, he helps the player throughout the game's menus, and he only challenges Wrench, Chip, Barney, and Lucky to prove they're worthy of being his successors.
  • Child Prodigy: According to the manual, Barney was so smart that he left school at the age of five to pursue a career in mechanics.
  • Color-Coded Characters:
    • Of the four playable characters, Wrench is red, Chip is yellow, Barney is blue, and Lucky is green.
    • The five boss racers are also color-coded: Radium is yellow, Baron Flambo is red, Snake is green, Glacia is blue, and Mr. X is purple.
  • Company Cross References:
    • Johnny Thunder and Baron von Barron (or at least a character resembling him) can be seen in the intro cutscene.
    • Billboards for LEGO Loco are among the scenery of the City tracks.
    • The manual says that Radium was once a scientist for the Rock Raiders until he was caught in one of his radioactive experiments.
  • Cool Car: Mr. X's rocket-powered X Car is said to be the best car in the game.
  • Degraded Boss: Radium, Baron Flambo, and Snake become normal racers after beating their solo races in the game's main campaignnote .
  • Domino Mask: Mr. X wears a black mask around his eyes that the manual says is to protect his identity out of fear of potentially being kidnapped by his opponents.
  • Easily Detachable Robot Parts: Mega Hurtz's arm and leg fall off during his victory cutscene.
  • Excuse Plot: Mr. X, the owner and champion of Stunt Island, is holding a race for someone to take his place as owner and champion. That's pretty much the extent of the plot.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Snake eats the leaves on his helmet during his victory cutscene and after losing his solo race.
  • Graceful Loser: In stark contrast to the other boss racers, Snake sheepishly smiles and shrugs off his loss, and Mr. X congratulates the player for beating him.
  • Hazmat Suit: Radium wears a yellow hazmat suit which ties into his nuclear motif.
  • Level Editor: The game has a feature that allows the player to build their own race tracks, and winning races in the campaign earns more pieces to use.
  • Properly Paranoid: The manual says that Mr. X keeps his identity a secret because he's afraid his opponents will try to kidnap him. It also says that Baron Flambo plans to expose his identity and banish him from Stunt Island forever if he defeats him.
  • The Quincy Punk: Sid Vacant, one of the opponent racers, is very brash and has a stereotypical punk style.
  • Racing Game: This is the second racing game by LEGO, the first being LEGO Racers.
  • Renamed the Same: The manual says that Radium's original name was Ray Dium.
  • Sore Loser: The boss racers (except Snake and Mr. X) make their frustration over losing their solo races very clear. Radium whines while pounding the steering wheel of his vehicle, Baron Flambo throws a tantrum in the middle of the road, and Glacia cries into one of the wheels of her vehicle.
