KNIGHT CLUB Is a 2-4 player action platform-fighting game developed by Gutter Arcade that brings traditional fighting game elements into an unlocked, free form movement playstyle. Equip your favorite armaments and do battle against your friends locally or online!

  • All Swords are the Same: In this game, yes. Every character has the same sword and sword moves.
  • Animorphism: Gil. He's a frog.
  • Bewitched Amphibians: While cursed by elves and not a witch, Gil was cursed to be born as a frog.
  • Bucket Helmet: One of the knights is named Bucket.
  • Capture the Flag: There is a game mode called Royalty, which revolves around claiming a crown and hanging onto it for the longest time. Getting hit knocks the crown off.
  • Casual Play: If you just want to have some quick fun, Party mode doubles the damage.
  • Challenge Seeker: Raleigh's motivation is simply seeking a worthy challenge

  • Fighting Your Friend: You can invoke this if you play any match with Horace vs Claudio, and Gil vs Sawyer.
  • Friendless Background: Since people were afraid of becoming a frog like him, gil didn't have any friends until he met Sawyer.
  • Human Cannonball: How you reach each stage before a fight.
  • Improvised Armor: Raleigh's armor is salvaged from his slain enemies.

  • Knight in Shining Armor: The general theme.

  • Know Your Vines: The thorns on the vines in the ruins areas are not just for show. They hurt.
  • Lava Pit: The forge areas have a few lava pits that will burn you.

  • Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: Your shield can take quite the beating, but only in the direction you're blocking.
  • Martial Pacifist: Mikol was raised by a priest and had a life of peace. He still secretly trained and left for the Knight Club trials, with the priest's blessing.
  • Missing Mom: Penelope's mother grew ill and passed. She wears her mother's helmet in memory.
  • Obsessed With Food: Horace, he loves food.
  • Our elves are Better: Not much is known about the elves other than they have great magical powers.
  • The Paladin: Mikol. He was raised in a church.
  • Platform Fighter: The game's genre.
  • Ruins for Ruins Sake: One of the areas with 4 stages is ruins themed.
  • Samus is a Girl: Sawyer
  • Scary Scarecrows: Sawyer
  • Springs, Springs Everywhere: The forest has springs you can use to get some air-time.
  • Sticky Fingers: Crow was in the dungeon for 5 years for trying to steal shiny knives from the royal armory.
  • Symbolic Wings: Averted, since they are quite functional when you respawn.
  • Thieving Magpie: Crow has a bird helmet, and was in the dungeon for trying to steal something shiny.
  • The Trickster: Sawyer
  • Ultimate Forge: One of the areas with 4 stages is a forge/smithy.
  • Villanous Friendship: Gil & Sawyer
  • Winged Humanoid: Everyone temporarily. When you respawn after death, your character will descend with angel wings
