Ghost School is an RPG Maker horror game by Kurousagi inspired by Corpse Party. In it, you play as a rotating cast of teen students who have all gotten trapped within the titular Ghost School, a school that was abandoned after a horrible suicide and multiple unexplained deaths struck it. Now it is haunted by various spirits both benevolent and hostile, and the children will have to work together to escape. In the process, they will discover the truth of the dark history of the school.
This game contains examples of:
- Big Bad: Reika Izayoi is the leader of the spirits haunting the titular Ghost School out for revenge on the world for killing her and her best friend.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Much like in Corpse Party, blue spirits are friendly while red spirits are malicious. There are also grey spirits that contain memories of the school.
- Old School Building: The titular Ghost School, which is filled with malevolent spirits, was once a bustling school until several mysterious deaths resulted in it being abandoned.
- Multiple Endings: Two, depending on a choice you make early on.
- Bad Ending: If Senna try to convince Yakumo to join her, then much later, Aki will die and Yakumo will betray Senna, killing her.
- True Ending: If instead Senna cooperates with Yakumo, then Aki will survive, Rei will save Senna from Yakumo, and the party will be able to pacify Reika and escape the school.
