Renovate, equip and restore the shine of the food truck that belonged to your father.
Food Truck Simulator is a business/vehicle simulation game developed by DRAGO Entertainment and published by Movie Games S.A. and releasing on Steam sometime in 2022 with a demo having released on February 16, 2022.

In the game you take on the role of a food truck owner having just inherited the food truck from your retired father. After fixing up the truck, you must begin to go around the city to different events and serve the public with food you prepare. Earning more money and more respect from customers opens the ability to buy truck upgrades and ingredients for new recipes. It's all part of the job of continuing the family's legacy of running a great food truck.

The demo serves up the following tropes:

  • Bland-Name Product: You have a computer on your office desk that clearly resembles an Apple iMac G5 but it does not have the gray Apple logo on the bottom.
  • Company Cross References: This game contains advertising for Movie Games' other title Gas Station Simulator.
  • The Rival: Your rival in this game is an all grown-up Dennis from Route 66.
  • Unexpectedly Realistic Gameplay: An in-game day consists of driving the truck to your location while following all traffic laws, setting up in an area where you will get a large customer flow but not cause any problems, cooking the day's orders while stopping to clean and maintain the truck's kitchen, and then returning to the office at the end of the day.
  • Where the Hell Is Springfield?: The game does not specifically mention what city you are in. The game takes place in an unnamed and fictitious American city.
