Craziness Injection provides examples of
- Adaptation Dye-Job: Boyfriend has black hair instead of his trademark blue hair.
- Anachronism Stew: Boyfriend asks Minnie Mouse if she wanted to rap battle him, despite the mod taking place in the 1930's. Rap music would not begin for another four decades until the 1970's.
- Deliberately Monochrome: Like Sunday Night Suicide and Wednesday's Infidelity before it, the mod layout is in black and white.
- Laughing Mad: Mickey laughs hysterically during the songs "Overjoy" and "Hell Sights".
- Shout-Out: The song "Hell Sights" contains Leitmotifs from the songs "Happy" and "Unknown Suffering".
- Vocal Dissonance: Minnie has an unusually deep singing voice for her songs which sounds eerily similar to Walt Disney's voice for her.
