Bus Simulator is a series of video games developed by Icebytes, Contendo Media, TML Studios and Stillalive Studios and published by Astaragon Entertainment. The series of games tasks the player with driving a bus in a fictitious city and also incorporate elements of route management to allow the player to create their own bus rotes.

The series consists of the following titles:

  • Bus Simulator 2008
  • Bus Simulator 2009
  • Bus Simulator 2012
  • Bus Simulator 16
  • Bus Simulator 18
  • Bus Simulator 21

The entire series contains the following tropes:

  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Averted. Sometimes other vehicles on the road as well as pedestrians engage in activity that may cause them to come into contact with your bus. Some pedestrians may even go as far as stepping off the curb right in front of you.
  • Driving Stick: Averted. Despite some buses being listed as having the Mercedes-Benz GO 190-6 six-speed manual transmission, these buses are depicted exactly the same as those equipped with the Voith DIWA.6 four-speed automatic transmission. The only difference between the auto and manual options in-game is that using the latter option merely requires that the player manually select between the automatic transmission's 3 range options: Neutral, Reverse, and Drive.
  • Product Placement: The games contain MAN buses primarily but newer entries have other real-life buses including Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, and Setra.
  • Where the Hell Is Springfield?: The cities in every game are fictitious cities that are based on real American cities.
