Jesus Christ RPG Trilogy is a trilogy of role playing games (Jesus Christ RPG, Baby Jesus Christ RPG and Rise Jesus Christ RPG) created in 2014 for RPG Maker standalone, then remade in a trilogy pack for Steam in 2016. The games are based on the The Bible, with JCRPG taking place during adult Jesus' life, BJCRPG before Jesus is born, and RJCRPG around Jesus' death and his stay in Hell. The game's most noticeable feature is that characters are 3D models, when RPG Maker games tend to be 2D.

These games provide examples of:

  • Badass Arm-Fold: Judas has this pose on the party screen in JCRPG.
  • Bad Samaritan: Some enemies in JCRPG are literally called Bad Samaritans.
  • Boss Subtitles: Happen before boss fights. For example, in JCRPG:
    Lord of the Flies
    BEELZEBUB
  • Broken Bridge: Sometimes, for example, getting 10 apostles so you can go on a boat in JCRPG.
  • Dual Boss: The Roman Soldiers in JCRPG are fought against as a pair.
  • Forced Level-Grinding: Level grinding in JCRPG is necessary to learn miracles and progress through the plot.
  • A God Is You: You play as Jesus, of course.
  • Humongous Mecha: Satan's main weapon in JCRPG: Special Amphibian Tactical Assault N-Droid (S.A.T.A.N.).
  • It's a Wonderful Failure: Getting a Game Over in BJCRPG shows Jesus before getting killed by Herod.
  • Jesus Was Way Cool: Especially cool in an RPG.
  • Mission-Pack Sequel: All the games have just about the same gameplay. Only the characters and story are different.
  • Onion Tears: Mary cries at the start of JCRPG. Not because Jesus is leaving, but because she was cutting onions.
  • Optional Boss: The Pink Demon doesn't have to be fought in JCRPG, but doing so will give the Noose for Judas, his strongest weapon.
  • Palette Swap: Demons' stronger variations only change colors.
  • Prequel: BJCRPG obviously takes place before JCRPG. In the former, Jesus is a baby, while in the latter, he's an adult.
  • Technicolor Toxin: Poisonous swamps are purple.
  • Walk on Water: Jesus does this to travel to an island, while the other party members go by boat.
  • Welcome to Corneria: Dialog rarely changes. This tends to make little sense, for example Mary will always say she is sad Jesus is leaving even after he left in JCRPG.
  • Wolfpack Boss: The main problem about fighting Legion in JCRPG is that, while the demons are not very strong, there's 7 of them.
