Attack of the Heavenly Bats is an Adobe Flash game by Sosker released in 2011. In it, you play as Peddler Man, a superhero who can use all his weapons at once. Unfortunately, a bunch of goat-like creatures steals all his weapons, forcing him to buy it back. Additionally, God sends him on a quest to help him get rid of bats in heaven ASAP. The Metroidvania quest to recover the weapons and get up there begins.
This game provides examples of:
- Bag of Spilling: Peddler Man has all his weapons stolen by goat-like creatures at the beginning and now has to buy them back.
- Double Jump: You can buy the double jump for 333$ and an infinite jump for 8000$.
- God: He sends you on the task and talks to you from the heavens occasionally. Guess what, he's also deceiving you.
- Hearts Are Health: You have one heart for one hit and can pick up more of them as you explore.
- Jet Pack: The infinite jump you buy is actually a low-budget jetpack.
- Shout-Out: The salesmen say "it's dangerous to go alone!"
- A Winner Is You: All you get for winning is one "You win!" screen and a prompt to play again in "no future" mode.
