Annventure Annthology is a trilogy of Annventure fangames by GameMaster1. They serve as a prequel to the main series, telling stories of the titular Ann Parker.

  • The first game, I Want An Annventure!, shows Ann having a strange dream where she is inside a monochrome version of her house, while a mysterious intruder has gotten inside.
  • The second game, Annventure High, shows a day in Samsara High as Ann is asked by her teacher, Ms. Brown, to deliver a pizza to Principal Fred.
  • The third game, Just A Room, is just a room, a version of her own room that Ann drew in her scrapbook.

This trilogy contains examples of:

    General
  • Lighter and Softer: The source material is a horror series where hundreds die in a demonic invasion and apocalypse, and very dark themes abound. I Want An Annventure is surreal, but does not contain the same level of horror, Annventure High is a lighthearted game where Ann delivers a pizza to the principal, with No Antagonist, and the game ends in a Wacky Marriage Proposal, and Just A Room consists of a single room Ann has drawn in her scrapbook.

    I Want An Annventure!
  • Big Bad: The intruder who is invading Ann's dream. Apparently she is another version of Ann.
  • Deliberately Monochrome: The dream world is entirely in black and white to enhance the surreal effect.
  • Puzzle Boss: The intruder is less of a traditional RPG battle and more of a puzzle; the intruder will not hurt you, but will evade all your attacks, so you need to figure out how to hit them. The answer is to use the cookie on them.
  • Zero-Effort Boss: Downplayed. The intruder never attacks, but will also dodge all your attacks, so you need to pick the correct action to defeat them.

    Annventure High
  • Gainax Ending: The secret ending is far weirder than the rest of the game, which is a normal day at school. Ann goes inside a hole in the first floor and finds another one of herself, who makes a speech about being abandoned, attacks Ann, then crashes the game. None of this is explained.
  • Multiple Endings: Two.
    • The normal ending happens if Ann finds the Principal and gives him the pizza box. Turns out it contains both his favorite pizza and a wedding ring. Ms. Brown proposes to him and he accepts.
    • The secret ending requires a bit more work to find. If Ann talks to the NPCs who bring up MemePDS and Doctor Venuz, a hole opens at the first floor. Inside lies another Ann, who attacks this Ann and crashes the game.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Downplayed with Ann. She has Only One Name in the source material like most of the cast members, but here is given the surname Parker.
  • Office Romance: Turns out Ms. Brown and Principal Fred have been in a relationship, and the pizza box she asks Ann to deliver contains a wedding ring.
  • Sleeping with the Boss: Ms. Brown is in a relationship with Principal Fred. The plot is kicked off by her plan for a Wacky Marriage Proposal.
  • Wacky Marriage Proposal: Turns out the pizza box that Ms. Brown sent Ann to deliver to Principal Fred contains a wedding ring and his favorite pretzel-encrusted pizza, which she had to go to a faraway place to get. He accepts.
