The in-universe reaction to the character of Benji, who starts off as a whiny-voiced coward and becomes dramatically more confident and cool. The new viewer is scornful of the early Benji, while the rewatching viewer insists that "he gets WAY better." (From "trying to convince your friend a character gets better later")
