Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SuperNate!
Hello and welcome to my account! I joined this wiki in May 2025 and am here to help. I'm all about solving trope mysteries, fixing typos, adding missing examples, and updating pages wherever needed. So yeah—get ready to see some edits fly! And also, my voice is that of a 7-year-old child! Yay! (That's my imaginary voice, if you know what I mean. My voice is a young adult of me.)
Favorite Tropes
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: Generally speaking, this is the finest use of comedy purposes. And I liked it. The last is a nonsensical/out-of-context/Noodle Incident/whatever that is. Seriously, this is a dialogue trope for what did you expect it to be?
- Hoist by His Own Petard: Personally, my favorite kind of them all is when a villain uses the mechanism but only backfires on it. That's hilarious and awesome!
- Looney Tunes has Wile E. Coyote invariably backfire his ACME Products to kill a roadrunner, and he is so Iron Butt-Monkey. Poor Wile E. :(
- Lizard Men: This one is just as bizarre as you think. It's a humanoid lizard. What a unique surprise, I see.
- I have only seen on the Disney live-action remake Cinderella that came from TikTok and Facebook videos, where the lizards transformed into footmen, but they have traits of a lizard (e.g., sharp teeth, lizard tongue, green eyes, the color of the clothing is green).
Lizard Footman: I'm only a lizard, not a footman. - Overnight Age-Up and Fountain of Youth: Oooooh! I like those! This is my favorite to do age progression and regression scenes, which I have admired experience since I was 10 when I explored on YouTube after I watched the werewolf transformation videos like An American Werewolf in London, which I saw that video clip, too.
- Raise Him Right This Time: I'm okay with this trope because a villain regresses into a baby and raises its parents/foster parents/abominations to make them feel as good as possible.
- Transformation Sequence: Okay, here it comes... This one will be cool and awesome because it glorifies the transformation!
Least Favorite Tropes
- Record Needle Scratch: Oh god. I hate this sound effect for comedy, and it's cliché too often that makes a parody/subversion/lampshaded/invoked/etc. Not only that, but it's on its way to becoming a Dead Unicorn Trope. For more details about the sound effect trope, go to the link on the left in the previous sentence.
- Sequelitis: I don't believe this would come along the way for more sequels, and I hate those so much.
- The most infamous example is The Land Before Time sequels. Only. 14. Sequels. IN TOTAL!!!!!! Man, it's so hated by the fans of The Land Before Time that they would ignore the sequels, or in your decision, you can stop at the one sequel, two sequels, three sequels... that's all you get.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: I usually don't like this trope for what happens to the character/object/event/anything like that; it will never show up again. And that's no good. But honestly, the creators would return as Brick Joke or whatnot for letting the characters/objects show up now, which would be helpful if there's a Continuity Nod.
