Kriegsaffe No. 9 is an internet nerd who likes nerdy things. He also writes nerdy things, both original fiction and fanfiction, and can be found at DeviantArt. Some friendly soul has also archived his story Osaka and the Yellow Sign at the Shoujo Ai Archive and his collection of terrifying Azumanga Daioh edits. Through some strange alchemy, much of his Old Shame has conveniently vanished off the face of the internet. Meaning of course it will one day return to bite him in the ass. He is, additionally, a colossal narcissist.
Okay, I seriously can't keep up this "write in third person about yourself, I mean myself" crap. Ahem. I'm a long-time user of TV Tropes and occasional contributor. I've also been mentioned a couple times, namely in my Azumanga Daioh fiction/edits, my Let's Play of Quest 64 (seriously, being compared to Tolkien?! Even in hyperbole, that's got me feeling pretty giddy), and my autopsy of Christian Humber Reloaded. I also started a troper works page for my novel, All The World Is Holy.
I don't watch much TV that isn't Adult Swim and a splash of Comedy Central. This means I miss out on a lot of shows in their heyday. Sorry. My favorite live-action TV show is probably Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Don't make me choose favorite animated show.
I like video games. Some favorites: anything by Bungie and Valve, [Pokemon], the Persona series, the Disgaea series (does it count if I've only played 1 so far? Long story...), and a variety of others. I'm a casual Touhou fan, having not played much but enjoying screwing around with the characters. On that note, Yukkuri are better than Touhou. I have a bizarre and everlasting love of Quest64.
I am a huge effing fan of traditional RPGs, although I've been a little out of the loop lately due to lack of players. Until further notice my favorite RPG period is Unknown Armies, although I am always, always in the mood for Wild Talents. I am such a nerd that I have converted anime and video game characters into Wild Talents's setting.
As pertains to literature: my favorite novel is House Of Leaves and my favorite graphic novel is Watchmen. I have been reading chapter books since first grade, since before I knew the word "novel." I normally read like a mofo, but a combination of writing my own stuff and reading stuff for school has somewhat slowed my devouring of books in the past few years.
I have so many Orphaned Series it's barely even funny. Go me!
I've been contributing as 'KN 9' as of late because of some dumb thing or the other. Hooray me for not understanding basic website protocols!
