Kiriyawave aka The Mounty( formally The Mounty Chief) is a Countdown Maker on Youtube who also delves into reviews of various video games and also does rants. As his show goes on, it becomes more plot-focused with Wham Episodes and Cliffhanger's galore.

- A.I. Is a Crapshoot:
- Throughout the Gen 1 Speedrun, Kiriya's internet kept crapping out on him and as a result, he missed a lot of time.
- In the Gen 1 and 2 Speedruns, Camtasia Studio corrupted several hours of Gameplay and as a result, a lot of hours were lost.
- Angrish:
- Kiriyawave did this when talking about Wally.
- "At least it didn't heal itself. AND IT FREEZES"
- Ascended Extra:
- Throughout the 3 Speedruns, Micheal 545, Crystal Zoura 1, Doggielover 10124, Tellyzx, Pichu X Castform 123, and Treecko 101 Piplup appeared throughout the Speedrun and added their own comedy into the videos.
- Awesome, but Impractical:
- Light's idea of what the Running Shoes should do.
- Bias Steamroller:
- Kiriyawave hates Gen 3. Justified when he grew up with Gen 2 as his first Pokémon game.
- Born Lucky:
- Kiriyawave was able to defeat Clair's Kingdra with an under leveled Weepinbell

- In the Gen 3 Speedrun, Light brings back the Drinking Game he did from Gen 2 every time his Manectric goes up a level.
- Downer Ending:
- Right before Shiny.Co was about to win the Speedrun, she KO's the Rayquaza and is disqualified.
- Right after Dark Author caught Rayquaza, Mounty decided to quit by KO'ing the Rayquaza.
- Drinking Game:
- Light did this in the Gen 2 speed run whenever his Pokemon went up a level.
- Dude, Not Funny!:
- "I'm being insulted by the Latino version of the President of the United States!"
- Telly then admits that he thought Wave would make a joke like that.

- Epic Fail:
- Kiriyawave encountered a Swablu but forgot to bring Pokeballs. Hilarity ensues.
- Shiny.Co and Kiriyawave KO'ed Rayquaza in the Gen 3 speedrun by using Ice type attacks. (Wave then proceeds to bitch about the typing they gave Rayquaza.)
- During the Gen 2 Speedrun, Dark Author fell behind because he was looking for a Growlithe.
- Kiriya tried to beatbox.
- "That'll do excellently" ~ Kiriya
- Kiriya forgetting to grab the Waterfall HM in the Gen 2 Speedrun.
- Kiriya was surprised that Slaking used Façade and said that he thought Slaking was loafing around. (Despite the screen showing that Slaking was loafing around the turn before)
- Kiriya when he couldn't find Team Magma's hideout.
- Light when he didn't know who Gamera was.
- Light when he realized that the Nidoran line in the First Generation doesn't learn a Fighting type move until Level 50.

- Every commentator in the Speedrun are fans of Pokémon.
- Only Known by Their Nickname: Kiryawave is usually called Wave in the chat despite that not being his real name.
- Dark Author is also called Light.
- Out-of-Character Moment:
- Light when he screws up the Sootopolis Gym puzzle.
- "I'm being insulted by the Latino version of the President of the United States!"
- When Susan gets a gym badge in the Gen 3 Speedrun. She goes "Pi-Pika-Chu"
- Out of Order: They did Gen 2 first, then Gen 1, and then Gen 3.
- Running Gag:
- Whenever someone mentions Brawly, Kiriya says "KAKAROT!"

- In the Gen 2 speedrun, the goal was to defeat Red. Kiriyawave won

- In the Gen 3 speedrun, the goal was to capture Rayquaza. Dark Author won
- Shipper on Deck:
- Tellyzx and Kiriyawave are shippers.
- Kiriya made a joke on how Manectric X Delcatty was the original Luxray X Delcatty

- Shout-Out:
- During the Gen 3 playthrough, Kiriya called himself Dreg because he is a fan of the Completionist. (Stated that it's a mix of the Mediochorist and Completionist)
- In Part 21, they make several jokes at the Pokémon Anime.
- When Telly brings up the fact that Pikachu lifted Milotic and threw her into the water. "Fuck you Logic. I'm Pikachu."
- Super Saiyan Swellow Mode!

- When they bring up the Pikachu vs Metagross fight "You know animators, let's piss off more fans, let's make Ash's Charizard lose to a Luvdisc or something.

- Dark Author did this when he caught Rayquaza in the Gen 3 Speedrun (Kiriya had to lower the volume after that)

- In the Gen 3 Speedrun, Light and Kiriyawave spent almost 2 hours trying to beat the Elite 4 and Champion.
