I enjoys many things TV and film including:
- Brit Com: The Good Life, Yes Minister, Absolutely Fabulous, Coupling, Peep Show, Im Alan Partridge
- Classic and revisionist science fiction/science fantasy like Babylon Five, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, Firefly, The X Files
- Other shows I like: Kids In The Hall, Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law, The West Wing, Downton Abbey, Sherlock (BBC), Frasier, The Venture Bros, Archer, News Radio
- Merlin, a show I mainly watch for the slashy goodness. I am not generally a fan of slash, but for this I make a huge exception.
- Classic Hollywood, Screwball Comedy, musicals, silent film, James Cagney, James Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, and anything with William Powell and Myrna Loy.
- I also eat up Radio Drama - classic and modern; Cabin Pressure, Jack Benny...
I will watch anything with David Tennant, John Simm, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Martin Freeman,
I wrote my master's dissertation on Star Trek Deep Space Nine focusing on it being the revisionist Star Trek step-child and the show's unique use of time and narrative in the canon universe. Generally quite fascinated by fandom and transformative works, and I love conventions. Would like to do more Vidding but my computer can barely handle it; I do what I can, when I can, though.
