• Fan Translation: Aeon Genesis would successfully release one after years of the translation being stuck in Development Hell due to difficulties in cracking the game's code. They even timed the release to roughly coincide with the official English release of Ys: Memories of Celceta.
• No Export for You: The only canon Ys game to never be released outside of Japan. Falcom CEO Toshihiro Kondo has stated that he'd like to do a remake of the game that can be localized for global release someday, but as of the Japanese release of Ys X: Nordics there has been no official announcement that Falcom is actually doing it.
