  • The original release and standalone ports of Ys II were all released exclusively in Japan. The various Compilation Rereleases of Ys: Ancient Ys Vanished ~ Omen and II, meanwhile, did see wider international releases.
  • The 1994 MS-DOS remake Ys II Special was only released in South Korea.
• Port Overdosed: Ys II isn't far behind Ys I in terms of the number of times it's been ported, though curiously, the TurboGrafx-CD version was the only English release for many years.
