• What Could Have Been: Essi was originally written as a more mysterious heroine and a darker heroine in general; however, Zeiva felt that she couldn't quite capture a darker, mysterious personality for the point of view character, so Essi become a more Bishoujo heroine. As far as the story goes, Loil was originally intended to just be murder fodder rather than the Big Bad, but Zeiva couldn't stand to waste a character, and so rewrote him into the story. Anon was also intended to be the Big Bad, and pursuing his path would lead to either a Bad Ending, or a "Good Ending" in which Essi becomes a Dark Action Girl.
