Trivia / Vanishing Act

  • Alternate Character Reading: While not done by Shocker, alternate titles for nearly each chapter (as opposed to numerals/numbers per major arc) were thought up by poster NiGHTcapD. Shocker gave them canon acceptance as they were made the official table of contents. As seen here they are chock-full of JoJo, Persona, and various musical references (mostly musical references).
    • Shortly after seeing this very page (and feeling proud of himself for that), and seeing that the Royal Chapters exist (not long after they were finished), he followed it up with a binge-read and yet more Alternative Chapter Titles. They were quickly canonized in much the same way.
      • Extra trivia: they were thought of as single-chapter titles, like the original manga release of the Bizarre Adventures. Rereleases group the chapters together with an arc name-and-number, as Shocker's chapter titles do; neither is really any more or less valid, just differently flavored.
  • What Could Have Been: Word of God has revealed a few plot ideas that never made it into the story proper for one reason or another.
    • Shujin Academy would come under attack by an enemy with an explosive-based Stand and set on fire. Akira's efforts in helping the students and fighting off the enemy Stand user earns him the respect of the other students. This made it in to the Royal story.
    • Yaldabaoth would have dumped Akira in a pitch-black desert at the bottom of Mementos, and Akira would have to survive while Futaba helps him get back to the real world.
    • Camael would have created a clone of Mr. A from the Arditi's memories, complete with a more powerful version of Man in Black. Shizuka would save the day by convincing the clone to turn on Camael and destroy each other.
    • Some Ship Tease between Sae and Jotaro.
    • An Enemy Mine situation between Shizuka and Mr. A (either Camael or a rogue vampire). This ends up making it into The Royal Chapters as well.
