• Actor-Shared Background: Chloe Frazer was raised in Australia. Her voice actress, Claudia Black, is also Australian, hailing from Sydney.
• Completely Different Title: In Japan, the game is called Uncharted: The Golden Sword and the Disappeared Fleet.
• Fake Nationality:
  • Scottish-American Steve Valentine plays Harry Flynn, who is English.
  • Scottish Graham McTavish plays the Serbian Zoran Lazarević.
  • René Auberjonois, an American of Franco-Swiss descent, voices the German Karl Schäfer.
• Playing Against Type: Robin Atkin Downes' role as Tenzin. While all his other roles in the series are villainous characters, Tenzin is an ally of Nate's who becomes Fire-Forged Friends with him over the course of the game. Additionally, he only provides Tenzin's motion capture while another actor provides the voice, as opposed to the other three main games in the series where he does both the voice and motion capture.
• Working Title: The original working subtitle for Uncharted 2 was Something Mysterious and Cool.
