  • Channel Hop: This was Pink Floyd's first album to be released on Harvest Records, after being on EMI Columbia Records in the U.K. and on Tower Records (the label, not the store) in the U.S. Since Tower's parent company, Capitol Records, was also Harvest's U.S. distributor, they handled Harvest's releases of Pink Floyd material in the region before the band's move to Columbia Records.
  • Feelies: The 1994 remastered CD release came in a green die-cut slipcase along with a fold-out poster of the album cover.
  • The Red Stapler: The live album was intended to allow the band to retire its older material. The album's success meant that fans just continued demanding to hear songs like "Astronomy Domine" live.
  • Referenced by...: Gotlib once spoofed the album cover with the characters from his ''Hamster Jovial" comic strip.
