  • Actor Allusion: Ultraman X Bemstar Armor in episode 16 throws the Bemstar Shield like a boomerang appendage. Seems like the MCU Captain America which Yuuichi Nakamura had been voicing.
  • Big Name Fan: Guillermo del Toro went surprised when he discovered a planet named after him in episode 5 of Ultraman X. Even Tsuburaya confirms this and to quote their tweet:
    Tsuburaya Productions: It's true :D Please check episode 5. Ultraman X is currently available for simulcast streaming every Tuesday on Crunchyroll.
  • Creator Backlash:
    • Writer Hisako Kurosawa regrets bringing Alien Zarab in episode 4 but forgot to include his ability to disguise as an Ultraman.
    • Takanori Tsujimoto directed the episode which petrifying monster Gargorgon appears. Its abilities to deliver speech is not what he finds interested.
  • Development Hell: Ultraman X the Movie ended with The Stinger that an unseen monster Desastro try to advance to Earth as our heroes prepare to take action. This continued in Ultraman Orb the Movie where its own stinger reveals that Ultraman Zero and Orb try to help X in fighting the monster. Unfortunately as of now, no word ever came out.
  • Fan Nickname: Denkou Choujin Ultraman Xros Wars.
  • Promoted Fanboy:
    • Kensuke Takahashi is a fan of Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Dyna.
    • Yuuichi Nakamura and Yasunori Matsumoto. Although never stated their favorite Ultra Warriors, they took the voice role without hesitation after being offered by the manager of their talent agency (Sigma Seven).

    • The voice actor of Alien Nackle Bandero is a fan of Return of Ultraman, so most of Bandero's lines are ad-libbed out of excitement.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Hayato is none other than Kamen Rider Snipe!
  • Relationship Voice Actor: Yuuichi Nakamura (Ultraman X) and Mamoru Miyano (Ultraman Zero) are Graham Aker and Setsuna F. Seiei, only this time they have Friendly Rivalry relationship. Not to mention that Guruman is Alejandro Corner.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Early drafts for the series featured Cyber Eleking and Cyber Bemstar to be used alongside Cyber Gomora, but due to budgetary constraints only Gomora remained in the end.
    • Gargorgon was originally supposed to be a member of a species of monsters serving Greeza, but this was changed due to the creators feeling it didn't work.
    • Dorako and Silvergon were supposed to return alongside Antlar and Golza as Zaigorg's minions in The Movie. Silvergon was scrapped and Dorako's aerial combat with Ultraman Tiga was given to Antlar.

    • Houlinga's role was originally meant fro the Ultraman Max kaiju Cloudos.
    • Kemujira was meant to reappear in the second episode alongside Birdon, homaging their debuts together in Ultraman Taro.
