• Advertised Extra: Jon Bon Jovi was featured prominently in the promotional material. While he may be a bit more than an extra in the film, his character doesn’t really do anything and only has a few lines before being unceremoniously killed ⅓ way through the film.
• Creator Backlash: Screenwriter David Ayer has regretted making the film due to its historical inaccuracies.
• Spared by the Cut: Lt. Emmett was originally beheaded by flying debris. To reduce the rating from R to PG-13, the scene was reshot so he'd just be knocked overboard.
