  • What Could Have Been:
    • There were indeed plans to include him on the Adam West series; there, he would have been a reporter whose face was scarred by an exploding TV - and played by Clint Eastwood. This take on the character will be appearing in animated form in Batman vs. Two-Face (the last Batman film West was able to record dialogue for, as he died in 2017), albeit with his face scarring being due to a gas accident, and William Shatner as the character's voice.

    • Billy Dee Williams was originally going to reprise him in Batman Returns, having portrayed him in Batman, but the role was ultimately removed from the final draft. He later ended up voicing Two-Face in The LEGO Batman Movie, and the character was visually modified to more resemble him.
    • Mel Gibson was offered the role in Batman Forever, but declined due to scheduling conflicts with Braveheart.
    • Erin McKillen was set up as being the new Two-Face after one side of her face was scarred and Harvey committed suicide at the end of "The Big Burn". However, Scott Snyder brought Harvey back, and McKillen was never brought up again.
