  • Dummied Out: There was originally supposed to be three magnets for the spiral feature, but it was cut down to two for cost reasons. Manually installing the third magnent and opto will work in some revisions of the game.
  • Referenced by...:
    • The robots from this game reappear as aliens invading Seattle in Red & Ted's Road Show.
    • One of the ticker messages in Monopoly reads "Become Lost in a Zone - Play Pinball," a reference to the "Lost in the Zone" Wizard Mode.
  • The Other Darrin: Tim Kitzrow, who voiced Rod Serling in the game. Justified in that Serling had died nearly 20 years prior.
  • What Could Have Been: Twilight Zone was supposed to use Williams/Midway's DCS Sound System, but because it was still in development, it used the Yamaha YM2151-based sound board instead. In 2015, composer Chris Granner released the original DCS soundtrack for Twilight Zone; here's what it would have sounded like.
