  • Creator Backlash: Bob didn't like the original format because he didn't think it made sense. Fans, for the most part, disagree.
  • Hey, It's That Sound!: Despite the show's short run, many of the sound effects would go on to bigger shows.
    • The "answer reveal" sound was recycled on Classic Concentration for when a door was opened on the board.
    • The sound used when a row of answers was revealed has been in use as the answer reveal sound in Fast Money on Family Feud since the Ray Combs era.
      • Speaking of Family Feud, one of the victory cues here was the last bar of the Feud theme (which is also used on The Price Is Right to introduce Grand Game).
    • The "trap" sound was later used for incorrect number guesses in Pathfinder on The Price Is Right.
    • The sound made as the Trivia Ladder moved up to the next level was later reversed and used for when the Star Wheel lowered from the ceiling on the 1990-91 edition of Match Game. It was also used when the Bullseye board was lowered from the ceiling on the unaired 1992 Family Feud Challenge pilot.
