- California Doubling: Set in Switzerland and London, but obviously filmed in California apart from Stock Footage.
- The Danza: When the background girls are given names, it's usually just the first name of the actress.
- Fake Nationality: African-American Judy Pace is cast as a girl from Liberia. This being the '60s, it goes without saying that the Russian girl is not actually from there. Lynne Sue Moon, who plays Mai-Ling, is the daughter of a Cantonese father and a British mother.
- Unintentional Period Piece: The Cold War setting, not to mention the early '60s fashions, are obviously dated now. Furthermore, Nikita Khrushchev and Mao Zedong are specifically identified as the leaders of the U.S.S.R. and China. It's also a plot point that the U.S. does not officially recognize the People's Republic of China.
