- Casting Gag: Arthur Kipps in the 2012 film is played by Daniel Radcliffe. In the 1989 TV adaptation of the same novel, Arthur was played by Adrian Rawlins. Rawlins played James Potter, the deceased father of Daniel's character Harry, in the Harry Potter films.
