• Creator Backlash: Richard Devon (Satan) did not enjoy making the film as he thought the script was terrible, his scenes were difficult to shoot (Corman used a bee-smoker which created a "dreadful-smelling fog" that choked the cast and crew) and recalled Roger Corman losing his temper over minor miscues by the crew (once, Devon received a draft copy of the script which left out his dialogue and Corman became furious over it). He praised his costars by saying "everybody that was on the show was quite professional and they really tried" but that "everything was against them as far as the dialogue was concerned."
• Follow the Leader: The movie was originally inspired by the (allegedly) nonfiction book The Search for Bridey Murphy, which recounted a housewife claiming to be reincarnated from a 19th Century Irishwoman.
• Working Title: "The Trance of Diana Love."
