- Executive Meddling: A minor case. The band originally wanted to title their second label release Saskadelphia, but were turned down by MCA for being "too Canadian", so they named it Road Apples instead.
- Now defied with the release of the Saskadelphia EP, a 5-song collection of previously lost demos from Road Apples, as well as one live performance.
- The Pete Best: Did you know they had a saxophonist? His name was Davis Manning, and he left in 1986. They recorded their first EP in 1988, so he doesn't appear on any of their albums.
- Real Song Theme Tune: "Blow at High Dough" is used as the theme song for the short-lived CBC series Made in Canada.
