• Ascended Fanon: "Bingpup" ^note Luo Binghe as a puppy is a popular topic of fanart, and sometimes even fanfiction, since many associate Luo Binghe with a dog for the affectionate way he acts towards Shen Qingqiu and how he tends to pull Puppy-Dog Eyes on him. Some time before the donghua aired, merchandise featuring Bingpup was announced.

• Promoted Fanboy: English licensor Seven Seas Entertainment recruited Xiao Tong Kong/Velinxi (who had previously created fanart of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's works) to provide the novel art for the official English release and the main fan translators of the novel Faelicy (faelicy) and Lily (lily_ocho) to work on the official translation.
