  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Despite the show's popularity, it has proven difficult to find. It is not on Discovery+ yet, and DVDs are scarce, often out of stock on Amazon. The best way to watch it is through bootleg recordings on YouTube of varying quality.
  • Science Marches On:
    • In "Speed", the winner was the Tiger Beetle for having the fastest speed proportionate to size, at 171 body lengths per second. Later research has found that an even smaller Southern Californian mite called Paratarsotomus macropalpis is faster than that — it can travel 322 body lengths per second.
    • In "Strength", the winner was the Rhinoceros Beetle for being capable of lifting objects 850 times its own weight. Later discoveries show that the Dung Beetle is even stronger, being capable of pulling 1,141 times their own weight, and even later discoveries has the Oribatid Mite being proportionally stronger than both by pulling 1,180 times its own weight.
