• Completely Different Title: The Chinese title means "Twelve Hours in Chang'an".
• "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune: Reyizha Alimjan (Tan Qi) sings "侠客行/Xiá Kè Xíng/Chivalrous Tour".
• Gratuitous English: For some reason the third song on the soundtrack, "阙勒霍多/Quē Lēi Huò Duō", is entirely in English. Not very good English, either; many lines are awkwardly-phrased.
• Similarly Named Works: It shares the first part of its English title with the 1962 World War 2 film The Longest Day. People googling the series have to remember not to shorten the title, or they'll find the film instead.
