• Completely Different Title: The English title is nothing like the Chinese one (which is admittedly hard to translate).
• Dawson Casting: Tiffany Tang plays the youngest of the Xiao sisters, but is six years older than Lu Shan, who plays her older sister.
• "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune: Yu Ji Wei (Yelü Xie Zhen) sang "相思魂/Xiāng Sī Hún/Yearning Soul".
• Hide Your Pregnancy: Tiffany Tang was pregnant during part of filming. (Though her character is also pregnant during part of the series.)
• Those Two Actors: This is the third time Liu Yi Jun (Xiao Si Wen) and Ji Chen (Yelü Xi Yin) have acted together. Before this they both appeared in Nirvana in Fire and Lost Love in Times.
• Time-Shifted Actor:
  • Shawn Dou plays De Rang as an adult and Lu Zhan Xiang plays him as a child.
  • Chen Hao plays Long Xu as an adult, Cary Ye plays him as a teenager, and Leo Pei plays him as a child.
  • Yang Yu Tong plays Pusage as an adult and Tao Yi Xi plays her as a child.
  • A Si Han plays Molugu as an adult and Xue Han Yu plays him as a child.
  • Jing Chao plays Yelü Xian as an adult. As a child he's played by an actor whose name isn't listed on wiki pages.
• Written-In Infirmity: Possibly; Tiffany Tang was pregnant during filming, and Yan Yan is pregnant twice during the series. This may simply be historical accuracy rather than this trope, though, since the real Yan Yan did have children.
