  • The book Dolan uses to kill a plague fly has 'xxx' on it. Vin Diesel of course starred in XXX.
• Missing Trailer Scene: A kiss between Kaulder and Chloe appeared in the trailer but not in the final film. It's been suggested it was cut due to the twenty year age difference between Vin Diesel and Rose Leslie.
• Shout-Out: Dolan is the surname of the current Archbishop of New York.
• Stillborn Franchise: A sequel was announced before the film had been released. However, low box office numbers have put its future in doubt. However, Vin Diesel confirmed that it is in the works.
